How Can You Help?

Are you knowledgable about technology and interested in putting that skillset to good use? Whether you use your devices recreationally or designed a phone yourself, you can make a difference through Teaching Tech. Our Teaching Tech volunteer program doesn't require coding skills nor a comprehensive understanding of every device. Rather, volunteers should be proficient in essential technological functions, and they should be patient, caring, and willing to learn. Join our fleet of Teaching Tech volunteers to make a personal difference in an increasingly digital world.

01

Help With Group Lessons

In order to maximize the impact of our group lessons, we aspire to keep our student-instructor ratios small. We need volunteers to make this happen. Help us work face-to-face with seniors, answering their questions and presenting lessons during our classes.

02

Provide Individual Assistance

Individual tech help appointments provide personalized aid on a flexible schedule. We hope to meet with our patrons whenever they need to answer whatever question they have. But, the inherent spontaneity of these appointments makes them a scheduling challenge. Thus, we need your help to fulfill these appointments and to assist more program participants in getting the tech help that they need.

03

Create Learning Resources

Collaborate on flashcards and instructional videos to help seniors incorporate newly learnt technological skills into their daily lives.
